It's impossible to keep all these things pristine all the time. And the more things you try to perfect, the thinner you will and motivation is spread, and the harder it is. If it makes you want to die, that is too much, and you have to learn how to let it go. At least for one day. After that maybe try picking one thing--something that you can control like a habit or action--and focus on that for a couple of weeks. Let the other things coast as much as possible.
i agree with lady. i used to be involved in everything and im quite the perfectionist.. my dad always told me, "just pick one thing you're really good at and make it the best it can be. you can be good at a lot of things, but then you wont be able to be extraordinary at a few things" and id rather be extraordinary than okay. i hope that helped?
im not so good at advice, but i can relate to how you feel. just keep your chin up, things will get better. :)
I have been blogging for over three years. I have been high and low weights. All the games of an ED I have played. I have gone through treatment. I still struggle with things, especially when I hit low points in life. I am who I am. I try to avoid the unhealthy choices of what an eating disorder contains. They can't understand why I do what I do. No one understands unless they have gone through it themselves.
